Clean your shoes after each hike or walk. For light walks, remove the insoles and air your shoes. For muddy walks and hikes, rinse your shoes with water and use a bristled brush to remove mud or dirt, using a hard-bristled brush for the soles and a soft-bristled brush for the uppers. To restore waterproofing, use a specially made reproofing spray or applicator and be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Allow shoes to dry at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight and radiators. Avoid using a washing machine, as this may damage your shoes.

The Sandstone safety shoes, from Regatta Professional, are packed with protective features. Made with a soft PU nubuck with breathable mesh, they provide a lightweight and comfortable fit. Whatever the job throws at you, your feet will stay protected with oil-resistant outsoles and steel toecaps. They’re finished with a water-repellent coating to keep rain at bay, with a flexible EVA midsole for comfort. These steel toecap shoes are cut in a trainer design.
